I recently had a mini-emergency while primping for a dinner the other night. As I dipped into my signature black liquid eyeliner- my everything– all I came up with was a dried-up brush, barely able to draw out one brilliant eye…let alone two. Even worse, my backup stash was gone, not even a hidden tube could be found anywhere. With that in mind I started thinking- aside from contemplating a break-in at Barneys en route to the restaurant- about how the fashion trend for 2014 is all about bold makeup, having just hit the spring runways hard where the 1960’s inspired cat eye is back…and not just for Russian ballerinas, actresses, or Cleopatra. As for me, the 60’s was my favorite fashion decade- too bad I missed it – but getting back to the future, here are some Sixties inspired must-have’s that pair well with those kohl-rimmed femme fatale eyes…and everything else.

And the most stylish accessory of all, the Vespa 946 that is sure to make your look even more beyond as you head for a Martini.
