Sweet Thing

Living in LA, we constantly go out of our way to hunt down the latest cold-pressed juice spot. We’ll drive to the ends of the earth- that would be the Valley- to test out the greatest burger. And, we’ll even wake up extra-early on the weekend, just to make sure we get the best flowers at the farmers’ market. But, when craving a sweet treat, we’ll pretty much settle for anything. How often does a sugar craving hit and immediately cause you to pull into the nearest gas station to buy yourself some red licorice or stop at the nearest Ralph’s for a Twinkie fix? But, like many things in life, a little planning can make all the difference. As the holiday season is upon us, here are some standout sweets in Los Angeles that could even replace that trusty apple pie at your Thanksgiving table. If not, do whatever necessary to make sure you have this delish dessert list handy the next time an unexpected, sugar-coated craving comes along. And be sure to bypass Ralph’s.
