Internationally renowned hairstylist Jonathan Antin was responsible for creating some of the most sought after hairstyles for Hollywood’s A-list celebrities. And then he took a break. Well, sort of. He went on to became Reality TV’s darling with his award winning hit show Blow Out. He’s now back doing what he loves, having recently opened Jonathan Antin Salon in Beverly Hills where a glam and well coiffed crowd came out last week to celebrate the opening. Hosted by Genlux and Ocla Events, guests roamed around the contemporary and sleek 2,000 square-foot salon- which is reminiscent of a NYC gallery- imbibing on cocktails, passed bites, and a great DJ.

It features two spacious floors, clean white lines, and lots of natural light- which is key for getting my blonde highlights just right. Antin hand picked an elite team of stylists and colorists, including- my very own- celebrity colorist Michelle Pugh. Antin’s namesake salon is, in his words, a conceptual environment where one can experience the ultimate escape. And look good while doing it.
