Beauty Call

Imagine yourself in search of a facial, now that your afternoon meeting was cancelled, or perhaps you’re downtown and in need of a blowout-  for drinks with that guy who finally asked you out- yet you’re nowhere near your usual uptown salon. Such dilemmas are pretty commonplace, especially in New York, where most appointments are scheduled on the fly. For the spontaneous beauty seeker, there is a new app launching next month called Beautified, sure to keep you properly maintained at any given moment.

Beautified | Salon Services

Allowing users to click on specific services to see which salons, in which neighborhoods, have immediate openings, booking everything- from those impulsive indulgences to your regular upkeep – will now be more streamlined and easier to manage. Three young entrepreneurs, Hannah Bronfman, Annie Evans, and Peter Hananel came up with this concept- frustrated at how difficult finding last minute appointments could be- and have expertly curated Beautified…selecting exclusive vendors such as hairstylist Oscar Blandi, facialist Tracie Martyn, and nail-artistry Valley, just to name a few.

I only wish this app was around while I was living in New York…but then again, the likelihood of walking head-on into a speeding taxi while scheduling a shiatsu could have been a real possibility. In the meantime, I’ll be waiting for the LA version…but then I’ll have to worry about Beautifying while driving.  www.getbeautified.com
