Flora Farm is a hidden gem in Cabo San Lucas, but for those-in-the-know it’s a coveted oasis located just a mile from the Sea of Cortez and the Puerto Los Cabos Marina. Gloria and Patrick Greene, along with partner Eduardo Frias, founded Flora Farm where they’ve been farming without the use of pesticides or genetically modified seeds for the past ten years. They have dedicated 100% of their production to local consumption, growing for Flora’s Field Kitchen– an alfresco dining experience that exemplifies farm to table- Flora Farm Grocery, Flora’s Farm Bar and the Culinary Cottages, all on the 10-acre organic farm set in the foot hills of the Sierra la Laguna mountains. Meals are created solely from organic bread, produce, and meat grown on the property, and Gloria has owned and operated many successful businesses, including Cafe Flora restaurant as well as her farm-based cooking school and event business.
Patrick and Eduardo have been partners for over two decades in the building of large-scale construction and development projects, including 5-star resorts in Mexico, the Caribbean and the Middle East. The Culinary Cottages, a boutique community limited to 10 handcrafted cottages, are nestled within a private section of Flora Farm. Cottage owners enjoy many private experiences on the grounds, such as the spa with a yoga and pilates studio, pool, bocce ball court and filtered swimmable family pond. The 2,000 square feet cottages include two full bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a TV room with a queen sofa bed. They also feature a full yard, fire pit, tended private gardens and of course, signature luxuries. The Beach Club consists of 1,400 feet of private, unspoiled serene beach frontage that’s perfect for private gatherings to celebrate a milestone or special event. Although the cottages are also available to rent, availability is limited due to the incredible interest in Flora Farm. No surprise there… www.flora-farms.com
