Known worldwide for its classic yet modern leather goods for men and women and refined reputation, Tod’s opened its first stateside JP Club for Men in Beverly Hills in February. The sophisticated men’s club offers leather and a stiff drink by appointment-only on the top floor of the Tod’s boutique on Rodeo Drive. Named for JP Tod- the company’s original name in the 1970’s- the Milanese luxury label offers their signature ultra-comfortable driving shoes and handmade leather goods in a plush lounge where clients can create bespoke items from the new Sartorial Collection while enjoying cocktails, rare wines and whiskey blends.

Composed of the finest leathers, the men’s shoes and bag’s comprising the upscale collection are hand-stitched and buffed by master craftsmen. Clients can choose from the five different leathers and customize a new pair of shoes, a briefcase or travel bag, and have pieces monogrammed. Once a client makes a purchase from the Collection, he becomes a member of the JP Club and is granted access to the clubs and specially designed spaces around the globe that house Tod’s Sartorial Collection, such as Milan, Shanghai, Paris and Tokyo. The owner of Tod’s, Diego della Valle, doesn’t see himself as the head of the leather accessories house he built.
