Around the corner from the company’s flagship store at Fifth Avenue and 55th street, Ralph Lauren opened his first restaurant in NYC last month. The Polo Bar offers a classic, yet refined setting for food and drinks, while paying homage to the distinguished sporting lifestyle synonymous with the Ralph Lauren brand. Rich mahogany leather is stretched across banquettes, horse paintings cover the walls, and riding hats hang from hooks in the equestrian-inspired space, where tradition with flair is the vibe inside Ralph’s world.

Lauren has two other eateries, in Chicago and Paris, and it is at the new Polo Bar where he pairs his love of classic New York establishments, with family and friends gathering around the table that has lured a steady stream of celebs and bold name New Yorkers alike to his midtown boîte. The seasonal menu features classic American cuisine like a corned beef sandwich, the Polo burger, kale caesar salads, and steaks from Lauren’s own ranch in Colorado.
