Indie bridal destination Lovely Bride has been offering clients a carefully curated selection of romantic gowns since its New York opening in 2010. Now the shop has debuted an in-house collection, The Lovely One, brimming with low backs and illusion necklines. The chic bridal shop showcases a ruffle-free approach to bridal wear, carrying well-known designers along with indie ones. High-end dresses from Badgley Mischka, Delphine Manivet, and Watters hang along cool blue walls, while whimsical hairpieces by ban.do, Lo Boheme, and Twigs & Honey are strewn across displays of floating branches.
Owner Lanie List says it’s fun to be able to build something for her brides when she gets to know them so well firsthand. She started Lovely Bride five years ago with the goal to provide the cool, laid-back bride with gowns that she couldn’t find anywhere else and experience unlike any other. As a result, Lovely Bride has truly become a trusted advisor on more than just the dress to their brides. The relationship between bride and boutique is a long one and the staff makes sure that the lovely experience is just that throughout the entire relationship. The new Lovely Collection is bringing exclusive styles that are special, boho-chic, and on par with their original idea of what their indie brides would wear. And with wedding season just about to kick in, these ladies are sure to look lovely. Store locations include New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Philadelphia. www.lovelybride.com
