The London institution, National Portrait Gallery, has launched a tribute to the screen legend, Audrey Hepburn, nearly two months after what would have been her 86th birthday. Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon is running from July 2 to October 18 2015, featuring images of the actress and humanitarian from a toast of prominent photographers, including Cecil Beaton, Irving Penn, and Norman Parkinson. Sublime, exquisite, graceful, compassionate, charming…these words have all been used to describe the fashionista stage and screen legend.

More than 60 images are on display, with film stills, magazine covers, and other archival material on view. Destined to be one of the city’s most stylish exhibit of the summer, this fascinating exhibition is produced with support from the Audrey Hepburn Estate and the star’s two sons. The show also covers her later years as a humanitarian. You may want to show up to the museum in a little black Givenchy dress, or maybe with a cat named Cat… or how about some breakfast from Tiffany’s. www.npg.org.uk
